GLIDEWELL, Robert - 1937 - Putnam

Robert Glidewell, son of the late F. Marion Glidewell, former sheriff of this county, died at a hospital in Indianapolis, Thursday of last week. Funeral services were held in Indianapolis, Monday, with burial in Crown Hill cemetery. He was born in Putnam Co., 63 years ago. His mother was Joan Ferrand before her marriage. He was a conductor on the B & O from Indianapolis to Springfield, Illinois. He is survived by three brothers, Paul of San Antonio, Texas, Clarence and Will of Greencastle. He also had one son, Kenneth, two sisters; Mrs. Harry Gambold and Mrs. James Grantham of Muncie    --- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for donating her Roachdale Times obituary collection
